Food Bank

The C.W.L. celebrated Christmas this year with another pot luck and entertainment. Each year every member pins a five dollar bill on the christmas tree, the money is used to try to help out a child or two with a gift of clothing. This year, a member suggested each C.W.L. member bring in either a scarf, mittens or hat to be put in the baskets that the food bank puts together for the needy familys in our community. It was a great success, we even had some left over to send to St. Charles school. I hope we can continue to be as generous throughtout the year. Remember the food bank is now located at our church and they need our donations throughout the whole year not just at Christmas time.
