Year of the Eucharist
Weekly Reflection and Prayer
...God still longs for us too. His call to our hearts often starts with a yearning which can be felt more than explained. A disenchantment with life grows to a sense of despair and desolation. When a soul is open, though, God will lift the veil of darkness from the soul's world-weary eyes, and He will instill an intuition of His presence and His love. As the soul answers the promptings of the Holy Spirit to seek God in his or her life, the tenuos reachings of the human heart become an urgent desire for a relationship with the only One Who is, was and always will be.
